This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors and users of Tracely ("Tracely," "we," "us," or "our") at tracely.xyz. It explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using Tracely, you agree to the practices described here.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal information beyond what is listed above. There is no account or login on Tracely.
We do not collect, store, or process payment card information. All payments are handled directly by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, you enter your payment details on Stripe's servers under Stripe's security and PCI compliance. We receive only a Stripe customer ID, which is a random identifier. We never see your card number, expiration date, or CVV.
If you submit a feature suggestion through our in-app feedback form, we store your message and optional email address in our database. This is used solely to review feedback and respond if you've provided an email. We do not use this for marketing.
We do not use analytics platforms, advertising trackers, or behavioral tracking scripts. Vercel (our hosting provider) may collect basic server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention purposes. These are not used to identify or profile individual users.

Free tier: Data is retained in your browser until you clear it. We have no copy and cannot recover it if deleted.
Premium users: All data is stored in your browser only. We have no copy of it on our servers. Clearing your browser data permanently deletes it. Export a backup from the Account page regularly.
AI processing: Email text submitted to the Claude API is processed in real time. Anthropic's data retention policies govern any logs on their end. We do not retain your raw email text after the summary is returned.
Suggestions: Feature suggestions are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data:
No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

Free tier users: since we do not store your data, deletion is accomplished by clearing your browser's localStorage (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data in most browsers).
Tracely is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at support@tracely.xyz and we will delete it promptly.
Tracely is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using Tracely, you consent to this transfer.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing the service you requested) and, for paid accounts, contract performance. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Tracely uses only functional cookies necessary to remember your license key status and app preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not use non-essential cookies.
We do not sell personal information. This applies to all users including California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For paid subscribers, we will send an email notification at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
